LG 32UD99 HDR10 4K UHD Monitor
LG is set to unleash four new 4K UHD monitors in the coming months, all of which belong to their UD line of ultra-sharp screens. The new forerunner for this series, the LG 32UD99, will lead the company’s attempt at the UHD monitor market for this year.
We recently mentioned the 32UD99 when it was announced during CES 2017. What makes it such an exciting product is its introduction of an HDR10 capable IPS panel which paves the way for outstanding color accuracy and vibrancy we have not yet experienced on our beloved PC screens.
LG 32UD89 – 4K UHD Monitors for Multimedia
LG 32UD89 Prosumer Multimedia 4K UHD Monitor
Aside from the 32UD99, there is another 32-inch variant called the 32UD89 which focuses on the needs of multimedia prosumer customers. This product offers an array of standard features such as 99% sRGB coverage, Freesync, plus a slew of connection options which include USB-C receptacles.
Unlike most of last year’s models, the 32UD89 will include height and pivot adjustments aside from the usual tilt, making it easier to get a perfect view. This offering will also feature a four-sided borderless design, making it extra enticing for minimalist fans who are in the market for an upgrade.

LG 27UD69 and 27UD69-P – LG’s Latest 27-inch 4K UHD Monitors
LG 27UD69 4K UHD Monitor for Gaming
Our favorite 4K gaming monitor for the year, the LG 27UD68-P, is about to get a refresh in the form of the 27UD69 and a pivoting variant, the 27UD69-P. We don’t have a lot of information as of this time for these two new products, but what we do know aside from their ergonomic variations is some of its core panel specs.
Both will carry 3840 x 2160 IPS panels with 99% sRGB gamut, 60Hz refresh rate, and Freesync support. These stats are nothing new, but we’re curious to see if a newer model number and a full price will offer our readers substantial improvements in performance and image fidelity.

LG is yet to release pricing and exact release dates for these new products, but we are assuming they will pop up on the market very soon since most of the company’s listed products have depleting stocks or availability. LG’s enthusiast customer base is already awaiting the 32UD99 and its HDR10 powers, but it is exciting that we are getting a few more variations that should fit a wider range of budgets.
